Filmed at the Bar Crusher factory in Melbourne, this model overview walks through the 670XT Reef Raider, a special edition release built as a fully optioned, top-of-the-range fishing boat. The Reef Raider isn't a stripped-back trim level; it's positioned as the highest-spec version of the 670XT platform, with a distinct look and a premium electronics and stabilization package fitted standard.
Special Edition Styling
The 670XT Reef Raider gets its own paint theme, finished in matte black satin with unique shadow chrome hull graphics giving it a visual identity distinct from the standard 670XT.
Console and Rod Storage
The XT console and roof provide substantial overhead protection from the elements while carrying enough real estate to mount a full suite of large-screen electronics. Anglers get 12 overhead rocket launchers for rod storage, keeping tackle organised and out of the way of the cockpit.
Premium Electronics Package
This special edition comes with a full premium deluxe electronics package (available in Garmin or Raymarine), and the demo boat in the video is fitted out with:
- A 16" Garmin display at the helm console and a 12" unit at the bow station
- A Garmin Fantom 18x radar mounted on the roof
- A FLIR thermal camera for low-light and long-range visibility
Electric Trolling Motor and Power
A Garmin Kraken electric trolling motor is wired to a 36V lithium battery system, giving the boat a quiet, precise trolling and positioning option to complement the main engine.
Ride Control and Stability
On the transom, the 670XT Reef Raider is fitted with a Seakeeper Ride stabilization system, which automatically manages pitch and roll to smooth out the ride in rougher conditions a feature more commonly associated with much larger vessels.
Storage and Fishing Features
Additional standard features on this special edition include fully carpet-lined side pockets and a deluxe bait board with drawers, rounding out a fit-out built for serious offshore fishing.
