The Bar Crusher 670XSR was developed in collaboration with James Walker of In & Outboard Marine, drawing on years of experience running boats through Northern Territory conditions. The brief was simple: build the kind of big, tough Top End barra boat operators already run but produce it as a proper factory boat, with all the Bar Crusher features and warranty backing that come standard across the range.
A Rear Centre Console Built for Visibility and Space
The 670XSR's rear centre console layout, with three seats across the back, opens the whole boat up for fishing. It gives the skipper a clear view of the casting deck and everyone on board a genuinely useful feature in Territory waters, where keeping an eye on what's happening around the boat matters. It's also one of the most comfortable driving positions on the water, built to handle the chop that's common in the region.
Seating That Adapts to How You Fish
Seating in the 670XSR is designed to be fully versatile. The three rear seats can run in a row for traveling between spots, or be repositioned using seat spigots located around the boat, including on the casting platform for 360-degree fishability once you're on location.
A Console Built for Serious Electronics
The console is sized to mount a sounder screen up to 16 inches, with room left over for engine gauges, VHF, stereo, and trim tab controls enough real estate to run a full electronics package without cluttering the helm.
One of the Biggest Casting Decks on a 6.7m Boat
At the bow, the 670XSR carries a casting platform that's hard to match on a boat this size, with a massive storage area underneath. The front section slides out for easy access, making room for eskies, swags, camping gear, and anything else needed for a long weekend, reflecting what this boat is really built for: extended trips, not just day runs.
Standard Bar Crusher Toughness
Like every Bar Crusher, the 670XSR comes with factory-built rod holders, a live bait tank, bait board, walk-through transom, and a fold-down aft seat. High sides add a real sense of security on board, and the build quality reflects a boat designed for long coastal runs into remote Top End locations as comfortable chasing barra one day as chasing billfish the next.
