REVIEW: Bar Crusher 575XS

I was first introduced to Bar Crusher approximately 12 years ago by my father, Dieter. He purchased his 560C (now 615C) from Blakes Marine in Sydney and frequently fishes off Newcastle and Port Stephens.

I wanted something special to celebrate my divorce and decided to contact Stones Corner Marine in Brisbane. Cliff Arnold and the team bent over backwards for me with my request and we came up with the perfect design for my fishing needs, considering most of my fishing would be done up in the Gulf of Carpentaria (QLD). I wanted something that stood out from the crowd: not just in looks, but also performance and durability. With the lengthy drive from Mount Isa to the Gulf, the custom Bar Crusher / Easy Tow trailer is the perfect match.

From the green light given to Stones Corner to commence the build, Bar Crusher kept in constant contact with me with custom requests that I wanted, even emailing me progress photos of my new 575XS. Not long after, the call was made that the boat was ready for initial test run. I flew down to Brisbane and the finished product was so much more than I expected!

Fitted with nearly every factory option, right through to the state-of-the-art Humminbird 360 transducer, this boat is awesome.

Fishing most of the time in Karumba, every local knows when me and the boys are in town for a fish. I can now totally understand why my father initially chose his Bar Crusher. As they say: like father, like son.

Being a business owner myself, both Bar Crusher Boats and Stones Corner Marine have what it takes when it comes to absolute customer satisfaction.
