I purchased a boat (560c) from you in November last year, you asked is if I could send you some photos. Attached are some photos of me and my two sons with some barra caught on the run off early this year. Can you make sure Andy gets a look at these? Tell him the only thing wrong with my boat is "I catch too many bloody fish with it".

I've just come back from a week of putting the mighty Crusher through its paces and have to say that I'm pretty pleased with my choice of craft, admittedly I'm no great expert and compared to my previous, ancient, beat up old Stacer, anything would seem quite good. I haven't had it at top pace yet and I find that in a stiff breeze it tends to list to the wind side but other than that it's met all my expectations and more.

Dennis Mason here..... customer from hell, but usually positive!!! Just thought I'd let you know that I had another 4 days at the bottom of Yorke Peninsula in SA, fishing for whiting. Got heaps, and didn't fish the last day, as we had boggins. I wanted to let you know that on one day it was blowing Nor' Westerly in the morning and dropped out in the arvo, so Mr. Know All says " It will glass off now " so out we 3 go.

Just had my first Barcrusher trip. Was actually nervous. Just took my wife and no gear or bait. Did about an hour. First impressions are very positive.

I recently purchased a 560C Bar Crusher. I chose the Bar Crusher over others because of its practical build and strength and the fact that it's not over done with gimmicky plastic panels that just fade and fall apart. I've had my Bar Crusher in 20-30knot, 2m Moreton Bay chop and it was fantastic compared to other similar boats I've been in under the same conditions. The boat is responsive and stable. I can cross the Southern bar with ease as the boat's name suggests. The 560C Bar Crusher makes an excellent fishing boat with plenty room to fish, and the built in rod holders, live bait tank, and the kill tank under the floor are great. There are many boats on the market which would have suited my needs however the Bar Crusher was by far the best value for money.

A quick up date un the Bar Crusher. It is running like a charm both Catriona and I couldnt be happier with it. Fuel usage is between 13 and 15 lts an hour depending on conditions and load etc. We have been doing a lot of snorkeling and diving out of it without any problems with getting in and out of the water. The boat handles well in rough conditions. A typical trip will take us out around 40 to 50 km off shore and can bet a bit lumpy on the way back with the afternoon see breeze I have had the 20 hr service done on the engine andare up to about 30 hrs now.

Your feedback request gives me a chance to do what I have been meaning to dosince i took delivery of my ( I mean our ) 530c in march 07 (we picked red/black decals and interior, looks great with the black 115 Suzuki on the back ). That is , to congratulate you and your employees on the outstanding workmanship and attention to detail that is reflected in the finished product.

I bought a Barcrusher 560c in June this year. I spent about 6 months researching what type of boat to get. An aluminium boat was more practical for us because it would be lighter to tow and easier to handle, and I didn't want the added worry of the occasional dent or scratch.

Some words below. I could go on further, but this should give you something to use on your website:

I am delighted to be able to provide feedback on our 530C Bar Crusher that is fitted with a 90 h.p. Suzuki Four Stroke Motor

The boat, which was purchased from you in July 2004, is based in Townsville, Qld. and the motor has just had its 200 hour service undertaken.

Ken B 26-10-07
It has now been over a year since I took delivery of a 560C fitted with a Suzuki 140 hp 4 st. Wow! What a set up for fishing!

It was after a great deal of research and planning that I became the proud owner of my Barcrusher 560c about 12 months ago. I wanted to purchase the biggest and best boat I could fit into the garage under my house - and certainly on paper the 560c fitted the bill , and into the garage with only inches to spare(after some trailer modifications)

Michael B 07-11-07
My name is Michael Bennett and I have a Barcrusher 640C with 150 E-tech Evinrude motor.

We fish out of Swansea NSW and we regularly run out to the Continental Shelf which is approximately atrip of 30 nautical miles each way.

I had previously owned a Savage Osprey which I was pleased with butI bought the Barcrusher as we were travelling further out to sea and I wanted a more substantial boat.

Vince B 07-11-07
We recently purchased a used 530C and have used it a couple of times now, so I just thought I'd give you a bit of feedback.

We love the boat and it has lived up to all expectations in regard to build quality, finish and ride. We had trim tabs fitted after market and I am glad we did. I am surprised you haven't had more people fit them - I definitely regard them as a necessity in the conditions we get up here in Cairns.

Shane C 07-11-07
I own a 560c Bar Crusher. I have had it for close to three years and in this time it has clocked up 750 hrs, the equivalent to 15 years of use for the average fisherman.

I fish in Port Fairy, Victoria and catch Mako Sharks, Tuna, and Yellow-Tail King Fish. I regularly travel to the Continental Shelf, a 65 nautical mile round trip.

Got your letter re feedback on my boat.

Thought you may be able to use some of the following. A few quick pics also attached:

We have been very pleased with our purchase of a barcrusher560.It is a very capable boat and has preformed exceptionallywell in quite dismal fishing conditions. Frequently fishing the sometimes trecherous  waters off Kangaroos Isnand, the 560 has,on a number ofoccasions, excelled in rough conditions to get us in safely.

My wife has had a kidney transplant, infact two. Wave thumping boats and transplanted kidneys just don't go together. Now following the arrival of our wonderful Bar Crusher 5.3 she is back in the boat, anytime, anywhere, for any reason she can dream up.

I am now successfully chasing the "big" version of my favorite fishes - 52cm whiting off Kangaroo Is, 75cm flathead at Gypsy Point, 90cm barramundi, 112cm black jewfish at Mary River, N.T.,1.5 kg Bream at St Helens, Tas and off to Wyalla next April for that big snapper.

We are responding to your request with details of our thoughts on our purchase of a 5.3 metre Bar Crusher.

To begin with, wife has a bet with husband that if he gives up smoking, he can upgrade our old tinny.

Husband thinks about this for awhile and decides it's a pretty good offer (has Bar Crusher in mind).

I purchased a 560 Barcrusher boat with 115 Suzuki in September 2006 from your Dandenong factory. Over the last year we have used the boat extensively around the Gippsland lakes andhave also taken the boat down toTasmanialast Christmas.

Mark M 07-11-07
My Name is Mark McLennan. I live on the north coast of NSW near Ballina. I have a bar crusher 560C. I have had her for 12 months and have spent almost one hundred hours on the water in her. I am very happy with this boat for fishing in the waters around this picturesque part of Australia.

Eric K 07-11-07
I think barcrusher boats are a superbly finished product.

After searching on the market for months I could not find another plate boat, around the 6m range ,that was affordable without compromising quality.

Andrew M 07-11-07
I have had my Barcrusher 530C + Yamaha 100 4 strike for 2.5 years.

I have used it most weekend mainly fishing the closer off shore reefs from Sydney.

It has performed faultlessly and believe the boat is ideal for my type of use which is fishing with my wife

Bruce McLean 07-11-07
Thanks for the opportunity to provide feedback on my purchase.

Previous to purchasing the Barcrusher, my boating experience was based on 35 years of owning small tinnies (up to 14 ft) chasing snapper/whiting/flathead on Port Phillip Bay. I then moved to Queensland near Noosa Heads and wanted to fish offshore which involved crossing the notorious Noosa bar.

Thanks for the opportunity to offer some feedback.

It's almost been 12 months now since I purchased my 5.6 meter Bar Crusher and I have just clocked up 100 engine hours.

All I can say is that I love my boat.

Thank you for request for testimonial on my Bar Crusher.

My Bar Crusher was very, very carefully selected. It was the end result of months of evaluating the market. Boat show, after boat show, and visits to boutique manufactures. The 640HT was the end result.

Robin W 07-11-07
Glad to see that you're still with Bar Crusher. I received a mail-out from you requesting some feedback, so here goes. The boat has performed faultlessly from day one. All my fishing trips require that I cross the South Passage bar, a very well known bar in South East Queensland known for it's ability to test boat and skipper on every trip. All my friends that I have taken out have remarked as to how safe they have all felt and how well the boat has performed. My boat is powered by a Yamaha 115hp 4 stroke, I have got ample get up and go when I ask the question and the smoothness that only a 4 stroke can deliver. After owning my Bar Crusher for two years now, I still get a buzz every time I take it out onto the water. Bar Crusher, there is no substitute...

After our conversation at this years Sydney boat show I had intended contacting you, your letter in the mail yesterday reminded me to put this together.

Wayne and Tracy B 08-11-07
Thank you for your letter regarding our recent purchase of our bar crusher, we'd love a new cap too!

Previous to the bar crusher (which we have named Y-Knot) we owned a 15' centre console Brooker.

David Kirton 08-11-07
Just a brief note to say how pleased I am with my Bar Crusher 530C. I have owned 5 other boats over the past 20 years both fibre glass and pressed aluminium but the plate aluminium construction of the 530C is by far the best boat I have ever owned. It has created a lot of interest and attention with other fisherman at Beaumaris Motor Yacht Squadron.

Gary Singleton 08-11-07
I needed to say just a few words. I was going to buy an 8 metre or bigger Aluminium plate boat to do my fishing off the West Australian coast.

My last boat was a new 6 metre plate aluminium boat which I found had a very hard ride in rough seas when travelling out the 37 miles to our fishing areas.

Vince B. 12-11-07
My Wife and I recently bought a bar crusher 530C and couldn't be happier with it.

It was the first boat we found that suited us both - I wanted rugged practicality - a fully functional fishing machine with all the bits. She wanted something that looked nice and had comfy seats.

Below is some feedback from a friend of mine who owns a Bar Crusher 530C. Also attached are some photo's we have taken of some fish we have caught, that also show the boat in the photo. We have higher res versions of most of thephotos if required. If there are any problems please let me know.

He's a very cunning fellow my husband. Sometimes he will make decisions entirely on his own and subsequently draws me in to make it appear as if it was a joint decision.

And so it was that I was dragged off to the 2006 Melbourne Boat Show to "examine a range of options" to replace our ageing craft. We duly went through the facade of carefully inspecting a range of different makes and models, talking to salesmen, listening to their spiel, making all sorts of enquiries before finally moving to the BC stand.

Recently two 20 year fishing mates diecided to sell their small aluminium runabouts and purchase a boat that would statisfy their fishing needs for the future. With their two wives approval for the scheme a quest was started to find a suitable boat. The usual options were discussed and debated before the general requirements were agreed upon. The boat was to be around 6 metres in length, plate aluminium, powered by a 4 stroke outboard and had to fit in a 9 metre long shed.

I grew up fishing Westernport with my father in bondwood & fiberglass cabin boats.

Upon reaching car license age ment that I could finally have my own boat.

I havehad my Bar Crusher 530C for 8 months now and mytwo young boysand I are very happy with our decision to by a Bar Crusher boat.

We have had several trips out in both Westernport and Port Phillip Bays in both rough and calm conditions.

I purchased my Barcrusher 640C in December 2006, my previous boat (for 5 years) was a Quintrex 530 Coast Runner which I was very happy with but simply outgrew. I found myself venturing further and further offshore and decided I had better upgrade tosomething bigger. My first introduction to the Barcrusher was a couple of years before I purchased the Quinnie, I read about them in a magazine and was impressed with the article and the boat but at the time there were no dealers in WA so after much investigation settled on the Quinnie.

Greg Martin 21-11-07

Being a very keen recreational fisherpeople and having bid farewell to the working life we decided to purchase a boat to support our new life. The boat we ended up with was a Trail Craft and we thought it was the bees-knees - until it was subject to the windy, choppy conditions of Jurien Bay, WA. At the end of each fishing trip Ifelt I suffered chipped teeth, whip-lash and head aches - all from the constant pounding of our boat into the slightest chop. We soon realised our type of boat was suited to rivers and estuarys - not the open sea.

And then there was the second coming!

Jason Nicholls 21-11-07
purchased my BC560 in 2005 and have put about 200 hours on the 140 Suzuki 4 stroke in that time. Every time I go out I still come home surprised at how easily it handles conditions when they get adverse. I almost look forward to some rough weather to make it a little more exciting.

Apropos your letter, I am a bit pushed for time to providea lengthy feedbackbut the attached pics and a short video is of a trip to Eden in April this year.

I have had my 530C for just over a year now, mostly fishing in Port Philip Bay and Western Port. After seeing how busy the local boat ramps can be during good weather weekends I soon got quite comfortable heading out in conditions that would see most people staying at home. The Bar Crusher has always made me feel confident no matter what the conditions are like, and Port Philip Bay can produce some very uncomfortable chop in the blink of an eye. When sitting at anchor in windy conditions just pulling the hardtop down makes the world of difference, keeping the elements at bay.

Geoff B 26-11-07

In November 2005 I took possession of my 560 Barcrusher and it has given me & my wife endless hours of pleasure ever since.

I reckon my Barcrusher has probably been launched from more boat ramps and fished in more locations in these two years than most.

I live in western Victoria and in 2006 we headed off with a tent and the boat on a three month holiday travelling up the East Coast as far as Cooktown, fishing at almost every possible location along the way.

We previously owned a 18ft Ally farm boat (stressless 1). My wife stepped intoa Bar Crusherboat at Pacific Marine in Adelaide and said this is the one, even though it was a little over our budget.

Adama Dalziel 28-11-07
I am very happy with my Bar Crusher 5.6 metre with 115 four stroke. Safety is by far it's greatest attribute but it performs very well both for economy and smooth ride. I recall fishing off Barrinjoey one afternoon into the night. I was close into the reefs and wide off Terrigal. A N/E wind was blowing at 15/20 knots with a southerly change predicted for around midnight.

Niel Dodds 28-11-07
Thanks for the opportunity to offer this up, I took delivery of my 560C on Christmas Eve 2005 and have been delighted with the performance from day 1.  I made the decision to run with the Barcrusher after looking and researching both Glass and opposition Aluminium plate boats for 12 months or more before making my decision, and in my belief this was the boat most suitable and best equipped with the best value for dollar for my needs. I chose the 140 HP Suzuki 4 stroke for the power source and haven,t looked back, except at idle to make sure the Suzy was running. "Quiet little buggers aren,t they"

Campbell Hair 28-11-07
The Barcrusher 6.4C that I took delivery of on Thursday the 5th of April 2007 not only met my expectations it exceeded them in every area, the whole package from the ground up is the safest most stable and fuel efficient trailer boat that I have ever had the pleasure owning. As mentioned earlier I picked the boat up on Thursday, drove back to my home in Horsham, then went down to Portland that evening (approx 650km), early the next morning (Good Friday) we had our maiden voyage my Mum, Dad and partner Annie out into Portland bay just to get the feel of the setup there was an Easterly wind of 20 to 35km pushing the sea up to 1.5m over a 1 to 2m swell the boat handled the conditions like a dream very stable in any direction with an extremely soft ride. The launch and retrieve is a pleasure (we found that the boat is a real show stopper, it draws quite a large crowd wherever we go).

Lindi and Ken L. 28-11-07
We bought a new Barcrusher 640c in june 05. When we where looking at new boats we looked at every thing that was available to buy here in Tassie. And the more we looked the more confusing it became, what size, what make and model, glass or aluminium, plate or pressed.??????? What made us decide? The first thing that impressed us was the amount of deck space for fishing compared to every thing else. The ease of getting on and off trailer. The brilliant ride in the water. The stabilty at rest while fishing. How easy it is to keep clean,(No bloody carpet), this is a fishing boat remember.

Peter Oliver 28-11-07
Yes your records are correct we buy one of your boats and it is fantastic realy doing the job

Why did we purchased a Bar Crusher, well the wife and I were pulling the pots one day in old boat a 15 ft boat and it was a bit choppy she got a bit exicted and was never coming again , I thougt it ok not her. Her next remark was what was I going to do about it so I said I would get a bigger bastard so after saving for a couple of years we ended up with the 5.3 cuddy bar crusher.

Brad Zaknich 28-11-07
The boat I purchased was a 530c with the blue stripes and a yamaha 100 fourstroke all sitting on a single axle trailer.

Dale Bowkett 29-11-07
Just writing to say we purchased a 5.6 unpainted Bar Crusher from Coastal Marine at Somerset and the whole family love it. It performs great in smooth and rough weather. We use it for mainly Cray fishing, which is why we asked for an unpainted one, (didn't want to scratch the paint off). Most of our fishing is done down the east coast of Tasmania out in Great Oyster Bay, Enclosed is a picture of our pride and joy the day we picked it up.

Stuart Lennox 29-11-07
Thanks for seeking feedback form your customer to help your future customers on their purchasing decision. I'm not a web freak but used your web site when searching for a new boat and looking for as much information that I could to 'justify' my purchase. I felt then that you could do more on your site to make it better....so good on you for doing this... it should help your prospective customers and sales. I'd like to see more pictures.... both general shoots in a wide variety of situations plus detailed shots of each bit of the boat... different angles and details as well as the testimonials from owners.

Tom M 29-11-07
I had been looking to update to a new larger boar, than my 16ft Quintrex, for a while but within a certain weight and price range. At the Fishing & Boats Shows I looked at various makes and models. At the 2006 Sydney Boat Show I came across Blakes Marine stand where they had various Bar Crusher Boats on display. The lay out and features of the boats were exactly what I was looking for in a fishing/family type boat. What intrigued me the most was the design of the hull which offered a soft ride and stability at rest. The clincher in actually purchasing the 560C was the test run in Sydney organized by Blakes Marine. The quality finish of these Bar Crushers beat the others hand down.

Glen Barlett 30-11-07
Your letter said we purchased a Bar Crusher boat in the last few years. We purchased the Bar Crusher centre console 560WR in September this year. We fish in the 21mile gutters off Bundaberg. We had to go through rough waters last trip, the Crusher perform real well, it's a great boat to fish from with plenty of room . I have a bad back in other boats, the pounding wrecks my back.

Chris Cranbrook 03-12-07
I've been around boats and the blue water for about 33 years in that time I have owned 3 glass boats. When I was given the okay by the household account, I started looking around boat shows, yards and the internet. I ended up at Blakes Marine at McGraths Hill, knowing Alan for many years the purchase of the Barcrusher was a smooth transition from the test run to signing on the dotted line.

Here are a few photos to show that kids sleep well on a bar crusher, and we have now cleaned many scallops on the bait board.

As we have said before it really suits diver, fishermen and as you can see take the family for picnics.

Rob Biddle 04-12-07
Our family purchased a Barcrusher 560, a year ago now, and its the best lifestyle choice (toy) we've made.

Shane Carrucan 04-12-07

'It is very difficult trying to keep everyone happy when it comes to buying a new boat. There are many criteria that must be met, and to find a boat that fits all of these criteria is a rare thing.

Mick Murnane 04-12-07
I recently purchased a 560WR Barcrusher from Blakes Marine at Windsor in Sydney. Ken Kirkpatrick, the salesman from Blakes, was very obliging when it came to purchasing the boat. We were taken on sydney harbour, in both boats the 560 cuddy and the 560WR. This is the only way to make sure you have the right boat for the type of fishing you pursue.

Ron and Nina G 07-12-07
We have had our Barcrusher 560c for just on four years and we cannot speak more highly of this craft. It is all we have wanted and then some. We can fish comfortably both in rivers and out at sea. The ride is second to none, beating our previous boat (Yamaha Southwind) both for ride and fishing area.
