Bar Crushers are renowned for their strength, durability, fishing fit out, quality of construction, and their superior ride comfort. Each Bar Crusher is equipped with a deep vee hull (between 18-20 degrees) for a softer ride that you'll find in most comparable pressed or plate alloy boats.
The deep vee shape is made possible by Bar Crusher's "Quickflow" water ballast system, a cavity or hollow in the keel which takes in water when the boat is at rest, then expels it back out when the boat rises up onto the plane. The ballast system provides great stability and reduced sideways "rocking".
In the current Bar Crusher boat range there are eight models built around four different hulls. The cuddy cabins remain Bar Crusher's best sellers and there are now five to choose from. They include the 530C. 560C, 620C, 640C and 640HT.
My favourite is the 640 Hard Top, an awesome rig for sport fishing. The hard top, with surrounding toughened glass windscreen, provides great weather protection yet it is compact in size so the boat retains a massive rear cockpit.
Like the other Bar Crushers the 640HT is superbly equipped. A few of the features include a live bait tank, self draining cockpit, hydraulic steering, step through transom layout (with built in swim platforms, ladder and berley bucket), and a huge underfloor kill tank.
Anglers looking for more fishing deck space will love the 530WR, 560WR and 640WR. These big centre console fishing boats are equipped as well as the cuddy cabins, but with a lot more open deck space. The super wide console, folding hard top and elevated forward casting deck are the key features of these great fishing boats.
