I've just come back from a week of putting the mighty Crusher through its paces and have to say that I'm pretty pleased with my choice of craft, admittedly I'm no great expert and compared to my previous, ancient, beat up old Stacer, anything would seem quite good. I haven't had it at top pace yet and I find that in a stiff breeze it tends to list to the wind side but other than that it's met all my expectations and more.

 

My gut feeling based on internet talk and the fact that every second bloke at the ramp/service station etc wants to engage in discussions about the boat, is that this craft is developing almost cult-like status among the angling fraternity, seeing as your marketing seems to be almost non-existent, one has to conclude that it's all due to the quality of the product.

 

Thank you for replacing the lost engine support bracket. I have modified it so as it should never happen again, if I can humbly suggest, perhaps the 'half' pipe resting on the pin at the bottom, should be left as a full pipe, thereby if it bounces out of position it is left dangling on the pin (which is held in position by a stopper at one end and split pin at the other)

 

Whilst on the subject, somewhere along the line I managed to jam (what I think is the speedo cable) between the engine and support bracket almost severing it, I don't know whether it needs replacing or whether it can be joined, (I'll consult your mechanic when the 20 hours are up) perhaps Andy can include that in the list of warnings at pick-up time.

 

Enough of bitchy bits, I'm very happy with the boat overall and strongly recommend that you pay my Quintrex-owning fishing mate some sort of commission, as he can't stop raving about it and rang everyone he's ever known whilst out in the water, urging them to go out and buy one.
